The Creek and The Cave

It’s 2017. Bobo goes to the now-shuttered performance space The Creek and the Cave to do stand-up, to shake herself out of herself and her routines. The vibe is rapey and alcoholic and she falls uneasily into it. The two long-haired bartendresses have seen it all before. The Creek and the Cave is a play about mythologizing your own life, and what happens when you try something new, something bad, something exciting.

The Creek and The Cave is my Brooklyn College Thesis play. It had a reading, supported by New Georges, in June 2026. Directed by Megan Hill and featuring Matt Barats, Jess Barbagallo, Kate Benson, Layla Khoshnoudi, Rachel Sachnoff & Stephanie Weeks.
